One week has gone by since the release of iOS 5.0.1. I've have now finish testing the battery life and it seems that the battery problem still exist on iOS 5.0.1.
I turned on the Time Zone setting which drained the battery on iOS 5. I figured if the battery problem would've been solved than the Time Zone should work fine on 5.0.1.
The picture to the left shows the iOS 5.0.1 with the Time Zone and the picture to the right without the Time Zone.

As you can see I still get a few more hours of juice without the Time Zone. So clearly Apple hasn't solved the battery problem yet.
Further more I've read reports that the new update have produced another bug. When you get an incoming call the number shows but not the contact name. Same goes with text messages. Only the number is showing and not the contact name despite that you got the contact in your book. This bug hasn't affected me but a lot of people have experienced it. So Apple get a move on. Release the next update. I cannot remember that any other iOS updates has been so devastating as the ones recently been released. Something really needs to be done.
